To the girl finding herself again

I’m not even sure that’s what I’m going to call this. Anyways, you don’t just wake up after a night of crying feeling whole again. This happens over and over again. Each time you’re being connected to another part of yourself. See, your emotions is how you let yourself know how something makes you feel...

so when you’re introduced to things that connect you with your emotions you’re really just relying on those connections so you can actually work it out with yourself. It’ll make sense to the ones that know I guess.

Finding yourself happens one little happening at a time.

How do you respond to happenings?

How do you respond to your feelings?

Why does what they said create this response in my body?

All of these questions are asked and answered by YOU.

The you you’re aware of most that does most of your thinking.

What communicating with yourself is doing for you is building trust.

You’re building trust in and around yourself. Just by learning to observe your own responses instead of those around you.

Trusting yourself is being known.

It’s being known while not needing to be understood.

Leading to it really not mattering what other people do anyways.

It’s full trust in yourself without outsourcing the outcome to what someone else may take it as. This creates a freedom we think we’ll find when someone else shows up.

It’s quite the surprise when you finally realize the one that shows up is you.

You are the only one that is always there.

In the aftermath.

The common denominator of all happenings to do with you.

People talk. A lot.

And most of the time that’s all it is.

You choose when and what you DO.

After enough talking you know exactly what to do.

How to move.

How you feel.

What you feel is trust.
